About this class
In the ceramics course in Eschach, you create a beautiful piece of utility ceramic using construction technology. Designed as a bowl, centerpiece or bowl, we are inspired by Mother Nature when designing and colouring. We work with engobes for coloring. Whether as a monoprint of leaves, sgraffito or as a leaf outline, we create our own piece of ceramic in an exciting course.
The pieces will only be glazed over transparently by me later.
The course provides an insight into the countless design options with ceramics and engobes. We borrow motifs and inspiration from nature and make beautiful bowls or cups in leaf form or with floral patterns.
What you’ll do in the class
At the beginning of the course, we freehand form a bowl, which is then decorated using various engobes techniques. The leaf motif can be reflected in the shape or made a theme later in the decoration. You are also welcome to bring leaves as samples or stamps.
The course lasts 2 hours and takes place indoors under studio conditions.
Who is the class suitable for?
Families with children are also welcome to attend this course. Children aged 10 and over are also welcome unaccompanied. It is a beginners' course that requires no previous experience. Please only bring a good mood and lots of creative energy.
