Coffee masterclass in Frankfurt: Become a pro

There are training courses on coffee and there is the Barista Masterclass. With a mix of theoretical and practical content, we not only introduce the topic, we provide you with so much knowledge that you can continue practicing independently at home after the course. We are also available to answer any questions you may have after the course. This course is “hands-on”; theory and practice alternate in such a way that it never becomes monotonous.

The content:

We want all participants to understand the interrelationships involved in preparing espresso. Accordingly, our training courses run a little longer so that all important topics can be covered with sufficient time. The following topics are discussed in detail.

• Brewing behavior - When do acids, aromas, bitters dissolve lipids from coffee and which factors have an influence on how much they are dissolved?
• Aromaology - How are aromas in coffee described, when do they arise and how can you specifically work them out?
• Brewing parameters - What influence do dose, grinding rate, brewing pressure, time and temperature have on the result and how do they interact?
• Beverage categories - What is an espresso? What are the differences between Americano, Café Crème and filter coffee? What is the difference between cappuccino, flat white and cafe latte?
• Milk - What do you have to pay attention to when frothing the milk and how does latte art work?
• Care - What effects does hygiene have on espresso and what should be considered when cleaning a machine?
