About this class

At our “Make your own cheese” workshop, you will learn how to make fresh cheese in a two-hour event.

After the greeting, roll up your sleeves and get started right away. With a kettle, fresh milk and the right tools, you will make your own cheese as a team of two. Our cheese maker will guide you step by step.

During the breaks, you will learn exciting background information about cheese culture in Europe. We will clearly explain to you how different lactic acid cultures influence cheese. To do this, try different types of cheese.

At the end, you take your homemade cheese home with you. The next day, you can enjoy it fresh, pure, with herbs, in salad or fried.

What to bring to the class

If possible, please bring a container of approx. 20 x 12 x 6 cm so that you can pack your cheese. Alternatively, we provide disposable packaging.

What is included in the class?

We provide everything you need to make cheese. For small cheese samples, we will show you the various uses of lactic acid cultures.
