What can you expect when autumn glows?
Illuminated and immersed in a colorful sea of lights, the park enchants with a variety of light installations.
Even in its 15th edition, the autumn glow has lost none of its fascination for many visitors. Light artist Wolfgang Flammersfeld and his team from “World of Lights” invite you to take an evening stroll in the illuminated park and promise a variety of installations that surprise, enchant and impress.
Once again, many creative ideas have emerged in recent weeks, which are being put together to create completely new light installations in Maxipark: Guardians and tulips are just a few of the exhibits whose magic lies in their lack of movement. The video projections or the changing colors on the lake, on the other hand, fascinate with their moving play of colors. The “Walk of Fame” or the invitation Smile will also surprise!
With the onset of twilight, the light objects take full effect. If you follow the route of the illuminations, you get to the video projections on the glass elephant. Here, highly complex programs are precisely projected onto the façade.
Past silent mystical guardians, colorful waves enchant and you dive into the tremendous colors of the lake. The video projection on a hydro shield creates a Wonderland and the Walk of Fun awaits you in the deep forest areas of the Maxipark!
Thousands of lights and colorful projections immerse the trees, shrubs, paths and attractions of the Maxipark in a sea of light and colors. The colors of nature shine with hundreds of LED lights and projections. A wide variety of materials such as polyethylene, aluminum, wood or fabric are used. Some objects weigh tons, others impress with their delicate lightness. Whether mystical corners, mysterious ruins, enchanted forests or well-known landscapes, many things fascinate with their very special luminosity.
