About this class
In this workshop, I will show you different techniques to use various tools to create beautiful designs for many occasions. The focus of this workshop is on having fun writing and trying things out in a relaxed atmosphere.
You'll get to know many different pens, brushes, pens, even lettering on the iPad pro and different types of paper. I also give tips on what should be part of standard equipment and what makes the most sense and fun to work with as a beginner.
What you’ll do in the class
I will first introduce you to classical calligraphy and we will train your skills with practical exercises. Then I'll show you the modern and trendy hand lettering and how you can use it on many occasions. We will also practice writing with brush pens extensively.
We will also show how to combine these styles with elements of graffiti and thus create a special look. Finally, there are tips and tricks on watercolor techniques and simple yet effective application examples to get involved with.
Everyone will be able to take home their own piece of art at the end.
