About this experience

You don't need any previous knowledge to take part in this course. Our experienced course instructor will show you all the basic techniques of forging and explain them in detail. You will then practice these techniques yourself, depending on your abilities and interests. With expert guidance, you'll make amazing progress.

In the course, you will learn the basic techniques of open-die forging. In addition, you can forge your own simple piece according to your personal preferences.

The experience of working with fire is an intense experience.

How does this experience take place?

In this simple blacksmithing course, you will learn the basics of forging. You'll learn how to handle steel and fire and work on an object you've designed yourself.

You will learn the basic techniques of forging, such as stretching, squeezing, bending, splitting and twisting. For example, you can make forged nails, a flower out of steel or copper, simple tools, or decorative pieces.

On the first day of the course, you will complete an exercise piece using the various forging techniques. On the second day of the course, you will forge a simple piece based on your own ideas.
