This course shows you everything you need to know about your camera. Rediscover your camera.
The course schedule:
- After the introductory round, we start with exciting practical exercises on the correct camera position, aperture and exposure time.
- We create blur in various ways.
- We address possible sources of error and explain how to avoid them.
- In doing so, we leave fully automatic and automatic programs behind us.
- You will learn how to apply aperture and time control specifically to your image design ideas.
- To do this, we learn the basics of creative image design.
- In our large outdoor section, we apply what we have learned directly in typical travel and vacation situations and receive valuable tips from our coach.
- In the final photo review, we evaluate the resulting images.

In this photo course, you'll learn everything you need as a beginner to take significantly better photos:
- Understanding and using ISO/aperture/ time
- Setting the ISO number to suit the lighting situation
- Design of the focus area using aperture, focal length and distance
- Excitement due to motion blur with controlled camera movements
- Introduction to image design
- Constructive image review

What to bring to the class
- A camera with the ability to manually adjust ISO, aperture, and time. Any bridge, system and SLR camera is suitable. Many compact cameras are also suitable. If you are unsure whether your camera offers these settings, feel free to contact us by phone or email and we will check your camera model for you.
- Fully charged battery Ideally, a charged spare battery.
- Memory card with space for approx. 300 pictures.
- camera manual, if available.
- We're going out to eat during lunch break, so please bring some money with you.
- We're going to do lots of practice exercises outside. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
