About this class
In this course in Heringsdorf, you will learn how to create sparkling glass beads from colorful glass rods using a special burner. After a short introduction, you can get creative yourself and design your own pearls, which you can of course take home with you at the end. The course is perfect for beginners and offers an unforgettable experience with fire, color and imagination.
What you’ll do in the class
The course starts with a brief introduction to the technique of turning glass beads, safety rules and how to use the burner. We will then show you step by step how to melt glass rods and form your first own pearl out of them with a little practice. You then have around 1 hour 45 minutes to get creative yourself and make several pearls — with individual support, of course. In the end, you can take your works with you or pick them up later if they still need to cool down.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is ideal for anyone who wants to work creatively with their hands — whether you're a beginner or curious about something new. You don't need any previous experience, just have fun trying it out. The course is also ideal for groups of friends, couples, families, JGAs or as a special gift. Due to the Brenner, participation is only possible from around 10 years of age (accompanied by an adult).
