First small pearls
This great workshop is aimed at people who want to learn how a glass bead is made.
You start with a single-gas burner to slowly get to grips with making your pearl. In the second step, you switch to the twin-gas burner to deepen what you have already learned. In the third step, we let your wonderful firsts cool down. If you live nearby, you can come on a second day to clean your pearls and then take them home with you. If you don't live nearby, I'll do the cleaning and then send you your pearls. This service is included in the course fees.
The times given are my suggestions. In general, the studio is available from Monday to Saturday between 09:00 h and 21:00 h. You are also welcome to send me your suggested dates.
How does this activity work?
In my studio, you can learn how to make handmade glass beads!
Together, we make wonderful glass beads out of glass rods. We melt the glass rods, turn the molten glass upside down with passion, enjoy the game of flame and wait eagerly for the unique pieces that we produce together. Fire, glass, passion and beauty!
If you've always wanted to learn how to twist/wrap glass beads, then you can confidently put yourself in my creative hands.
In my studio in the south of Cologne, I offer creative and individual glass bead workshops for 1 person. I have deliberately limited the number of participants to one person. Why Because I am firmly convinced that everyone has their own way of learning things. Alone with me, you can develop optimally and learn the art of Gravity & Love while playing.
My experience also shows that the results are more brilliant when we're just the two of us. The knowledge to be imparted is also more compressed.
You and I together in the studio will bring you the greatest possible success.
Who should definitely take part?
This course is aimed at curious and creative people who want to learn about a centuries-old craft.
