It was an all-round beautiful course with a unique insight into working with glass. Betty showed and explained every step to me in detail and then let me quickly make pearls myself - with a lot of patience and always available with tips. It was wonderful to watch the molten glass glow and flow into each other. A truly impressive experience! For everyone who - like me - has no exact idea beforehand of how to work with glass or how hot it gets: You sit at your own workplace with a small burner. The flame is relatively small and emits hardly any heat, except where necessary. So you don't have to worry about it getting too hot or getting burned.

That was a great afternoon with lots of inspiration and magic. It's fascinating how the material glass can be shaped and processed and yet you have to practice a lot of patience. My companion and I received a very warm welcome and Betty took plenty of time to patiently explain and show me everything. You will receive a very warm welcome and create beautiful pearls in 4 hours. With the first few pearls, you first learn how the glass behaves and can then soon make the first beads with different colors and decorative points. Betty explains exactly how to proceed and gives you tips for various effects that you can achieve. The course is definitely recommended.

The course was a gift for my 13-year-old daughter. I was there too and was allowed to watch. We were warmly welcomed and provided with drinks. After my daughter was fitted with a work apron and safety glasses, she was briefed on how to use the gas burners. Then it went straight to work. After the first few exercises, my daughter literally made her first small works of art in the blink of an eye! This course is really a great experience!

Glass is a wonderful material. Smooth and cuddly.

My motto is: Gravity & Love! Let it flow!

The trick lies in gravity. Glass always wants to end up as a hot drop on the ground. Hot glass sticks. All of this must be prevented. Hot glass is idiosyncratic and sometimes very tricky. Each creative process is a game with one's own impatience, with the exciting characteristics of the material and the forces of nature. Handmade glass beads are wonderful and every pearl fills me with pride.

In my studio, you can learn how to make handmade glass beads!

Together, we make wonderful glass beads out of glass rods. We melt the glass rods, turn the molten glass upside down with passion, enjoy the game of flame and wait eagerly for the unique pieces that we produce together.

Fire, glass, passion and beauty! Glass has fascinated people for centuries.

If you've always wanted to learn how to twist/wrap glass beads, then you can confidently put yourself in my creative hands.

In my studio on Heinenhof in Pulheim Orr, I offer creative and individual glass bead workshops. I have deliberately limited the number of participants to a maximum of 2 people. Why Because I am firmly convinced that everyone has their own way of learning things. If there are a maximum of three of us, each participant can develop optimally and learn the art of Gravity & Love while playing.

My experience also shows that the results are more brilliant when there are only three of us at most. The knowledge to be imparted is also more compressed.
