Class description
The aim of the basic level 2 course is to decorate the base pearl with dots, bubbles, flowers (in and/or) on the pearl.
Materials science is taught and I am happy to answer questions about tools and techniques.
I will of course be at your side with advice and assistance at every stage of the work.
The times given are my suggestions. In general, the studio is available from Monday to Saturday between 09:00 h and 21:00 h. You are also welcome to send me your suggested dates.
How does this activity work?
Together, we make wonderful glass beads out of glass rods. We melt the glass rods, turn the molten glass upside down with passion, enjoy the game of flame and wait eagerly for the unique pieces that we produce together. Fire, glass, passion and beauty! Once the pearl has been produced, we start to decorate the pearl using various techniques in and/or on the pearl. I will of course be there to advise you at every stage of the work.
Who should definitely take part?
If you would like to deepen your knowledge and learn new techniques in bead making, this course is a very good opportunity to do so.
This workshop is aimed at people who are naturally very creative and have already gained experience at Brenner. The prerequisite is a course certificate for a basic course: Lampworking, which must be brought along.
Alternatively, you are of course welcome to book my Level 1 workshop and learn all the necessary skills with me.
