About this class
Martine's mother-child sewing course focuses on togetherness. Sewing together creates more than just a beautiful piece of work — you experience closeness, joy and team spirit. With sensitivity, patience and a sense of harmony, Martine accompanies you to create something of your own and at the same time strengthen your relationship. It's about laughing, trying things out and the good feeling of creating something together — step by step, with heart and understanding.
What you’ll do in the class
In Martine's mother-child sewing course, you will experience how creating together connects. At the beginning, you talk about whether you want to sew a joint project or everyone wants to sew something of their own. This is followed by initial sketches and drawings that make your ideas visible.
You then choose fabrics — either from Martine's collection or bring your favorite fabrics with you. Then it's time to draw a cut, where Martine explains why and how a cut is made. With calmness and patience, she accompanies you as you transfer the cut to the fabric, cut out and iron.
Now everything is put together with pins and finally sewn together with Martine's help — step by step, your finished work is created.
The focus is not on perfection, but on joy, patience and the wonderful feeling of creating something together. In the end, you not only hold your sewn piece in your hands, but also a piece of time together, harmony and solidarity.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is suitable for adults aged 18 and over — whether mother, father, grandma, aunt or sister — together with a child under 18 years of age.
Everyone who wants to spend time together, get creative and create something of their own is invited. No sewing experience is necessary — the only important thing is the joy of working together, trying things out and experiencing together.
