What you’ll do in the class
The topics & content of the photo course
First part:
- Introduction to abstract photography
- creative recording techniques
- Build a set with simple tools
- Introduction to flash technology & continuous lighting
- Working with a macro lens and extension rings
Second part:
- RAW workflow and editing suggestions
- joint image processing
- lots of suggestions, ideas and fresh inspiration
- Of course, you can also continue taking pictures here, depending on your mood.
In this workshop, we mainly work with prepared experimental kits in the studio and I present various recording techniques for abstraction. The structures can all be recreated at home with little effort, so that the photo course can serve as a source of inspiration for further ideas of your own.
It can be tried out, tricked and varied to your heart's content. All you need is the joy of creative experimentation, a manually adjustable camera with hot shoe and a laptop for image editing (ideally with Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop).
