About this class
This course is for anyone who wants more: more depth, more technique, more expression.
In two consecutive sessions, you will develop one or two ceramic objects with an individual design language and a fine surface. You work with classic techniques such as bead construction, carving techniques and engobe — always accompanied by Barbara Jenner, artist and designer.
The end result is a work that bears your signature — clear, reduced and with creative depth.

Please come in clothes that can get dirty. Aprons are available on site.
What is included in the class?
• Complete design process: from form to surface
• Introduction to manual construction, edging & decorative techniques
• Personal support from an artist & designer • Two sessions of 2 hours in a small group (max. 9 people)
• Clay, glaze & firing included for up to two pieces
• Your finished object is ready for collection approx. 3-4 weeks later
Teamevents and groups
What you’ll do in the class
Part 1 is dedicated to form: You learn the technique of building beads, develop an object out of clay and find your own creative expression.
Part 2 introduces you to the world of surfaces: You learn how to clean edges, structure surfaces, draw lines with incision tools and paint with engobes.
