About this class
Blotted Line in Berlin: Learn illustrations with ink and watercolor
Discover the blotted line technique that Andy Warhol used for playful illustrations in his early years. In this art class in Berlin, you will learn how to create unique illustrations with ink and watercolor. You can bring your own simple favorite motifs (up to A4) and create them individually in a new guise. Otherwise, I provide sufficient reference material. Great for beginners and advanced users who want to expand their creative skills!
What you’ll do in the class
We start the course with a look at Andy Warhol's beautiful illustrations and get inspired by his playful nature. We then practice the basics of watercolor painting together and experiment with the technique. After a short break with snacks and drinks, we're really getting started — now your illustrations are being created! In the three hours of the course, you will have enough time to create one or two wonderful, colorful works of art. I provide the necessary equipment, and drinks are also on site.
Who is the class suitable for?
This course is ideal for women, girlfriends, small groups of women, sisters or mothers and daughters, young women and girls who want to be creative together — for example, to create a personal work of art as a gift, perhaps even as a special birthday activity. But even if you come alone, you can meet nice people here. In a relaxed atmosphere, you create small, beautiful works of art for yourself or as a gift. I will provide you with individual support on your creative journey and look forward to accompanying you on your art project.
