Beer Tasting - European Craft Beer Championships in Berlin

The men's European soccer championship will take place in Germany from June 14 to July 14.

We are taking this as an opportunity to jointly choose the European craft beer champion at the tasting on June 20th.

In doing so, we go straight to the quarter-finals.

What is the process of the European Craft Beer Tasting Championships in Berlin?

That means we taste 8 beers in a direct comparison of 2 beers each with a similar aroma profile.

In the first round, for example, a hoppy beer competes against another hoppy beer.

The winners of the quarter-finals are determined by voting by all participants and move on to the semi-finals.

In the two semi-finals, the winners from the quarter finals will compete against each other.

There, too, the winners will once again be determined by voting.

These two beers will compete against each other in the final and the winner of the comparison will be our European craft beer champion!

What is the content of the European Craft Beer Tasting Championships in Berlin?

In a tasting led by the beer apostle, we taste eight different craft beers from 8 different countries — so far so good.

At this tasting, however, we do not taste each beer individually, but always 2 beers against each other.

By voting all participants, a winning beer is determined in each pairing.

Beers that advance a round are tasted twice — beers that make it to the final are even tasted three times.

The stylish tasting location on Jägerstraße in Berlin-Mitte offers us perfect conditions for this!
