About this class
At the bee workshop for children, daycare and elementary school children dive into the fascinating world of bees — with all their senses! In this educationally guided nature experience, children experience an exciting combination of learning and creative design. Together, they discover why bees are so important to our environment, make their own insect hotels, paint creative bee pictures and sow seeds for more biodiversity. The workshop is individually tailored to the age of the children and can be flexibly combined with your own ideas. A gift for every child makes for lasting memories.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome & presentation of the topic “Bees and their importance for nature & humans”
- Creative phase: painting & designing bee pictures — everyone contributes their own ideas
- Knowledge module: Exciting information about the life of honey and wild bees, adapted to the age of children
- Interactive quiz or question and answer session: Deepen what you have learned in a playful way
- Interactive activity: The children sow their own small bee meadow with seeds and learn how to create habitats
- Crafting campaign: Build an insect hotel for wild bees (individually or as a group work) - for an additional charge!
- Final round: exchange, questions & handing over a small gift to each child
