In the studio in Düsseldorf city center
It is 11 o'clock and you have 120 minutes to try out your creativity in peace and quiet. Art + Coffee is the perfect way to dive into the world of art — without printing, but with an extra dose of color. We focus on the studio atmosphere: a colorful place for everyone that offers space for creativity and exchange. I would be delighted if we met on equal footing in the studio and if every course participant could develop at their own pace.
This course is aimed at anyone who has always wanted to get creative or simply enjoy trying out something new. Regardless of whether you've never had a brush in your hand before or simply want to experience something different from everyday life — this is where you can discover and develop your creative side!
Before you get to the creative work, something special awaits you: Simon from the Düsseldorf roastery Skeiced will offer you a coffee tasting. He presents his home-roasted beans and prepares your coffee of choice — be it a cappuccino, espresso or another favorite drink. This wake-up moment is the perfect opportunity to stroll around the studio, arrive at the weekend and enjoy the coffee atmosphere. So you can get in the mood in peace before you start painting.
Because in the painting workshop, you will paint a kind of coffee motif on a 30 x 40 cm canvas. There are various motifs to choose from, which you sketch with pencil and then paint with colorful acrylic paints. And if it doesn't work out right away, I'm of course there to help you and work with you on your own painting. Everything you need — paints, brushes, canvas and drinks — is included in the price.

Theresa Kallrath
Die Düsseldorfer Künstlerin Theresa Kallrath ist Absolventin der renommierten Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Auf besondere Empfehlung der Akademie wurde ihr im Anschluss des Malereistudiums ein Platz an der Ècole des Beaux-Arts de Paris ENSBA in Frankreich zuteil.
