Class description
The creative workshop “Abstract & Structure: Acryl Pouring” invites you to leave everyday life behind, surrender completely to creativity and let it run wild.
Without fixed requirements or previous knowledge, you dive into the world of abstract art. Under the guidance of an experienced artist, you will rediscover your creativity and create your own abstract work of art. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can let your creativity run wild and exchange ideas in a group.
The name of the workshop says it all! We work with highly liquefied acrylic paint and use other materials to give the surface an exciting structure. Since the paint has long drying times, this workshop is scheduled for 3 dates.
- Date 1 (2 hours): Get to know
materials & technology, choose the color concept for the work of art and pour the first layers and incorporate the first structural materials. - Session 2 (2 hours):
Viewing the works of art, casting further layers and structural elements - Appointment 3 (2 hours):
View the works of art & the opportunity to add details to your own work of art with further materials. (e.g. pastel crayons, acrylic paint with brush, etc.)
The course takes place in a small group of a maximum of 5 participants, so that we all have enough space to work. The works of art may be stored to dry in the studio until the last appointment.
What else you should know:
The course takes place in my cozy art studio in the south of Nuremberg.
Bring clothes that can also get something, as well as slippers (or cuddly socks).
Food is catered for, as various small snacks and non-alcoholic drinks are of course included in your booking.
There are parking spaces on the street, but these are usually fully occupied by local residents in the evening.
My recommendation:
U1 to Maffaiplatz stop (approx. 7 minutes on foot)
tram 5 to Siemensstraße stop (approx. 2 minutes on foot)
*My courses are mainly attended by adults. Children aged 10 and over are welcome when accompanied by a parent — both must attend the course.
