About this class
Would you like to make your own tableware on the turntable and learn the technique of turning? Then our 3-part pottery course in Munich Westend is just the right thing for you!
We show you all the steps and tricks you need on the turntable. You can also decorate, refine and attach handles to your twisted ceramic. Once fired, we will glaze the pieces together in your desired colors.
Turning the potter's wheel is a fascinating technique. Working with clay is grounding and relaxing, and the handmade pieces often become our favorite pieces in the kitchen.
I have been giving pottery courses in my workshop in Westend for 8 years. Since this year, Sonja, Susanne and Melli have also been instructors on my team and we are looking forward to the courses with you!
What you’ll do in the class
1st appointment (2h)
Turning on the potter's wheel
A separate hub is available for every participant.
2nd appointment (2h)
Twist, decorate, handle
At this appointment, you can further edit your pieces and put the finishing touches on them.
3rd appointment (2h)
glaze
You choose glazes and I'll show you various techniques for glazing the ceramic.
After 1—2 weeks, your pieces are finished burning and are ready for collection.
