Class description

The focus of this course is on the joy of experimenting and freely dealing with the topic of portrait. At the beginning of this course, we will of course focus on the basics of portrait drawing/painting. How can you correctly see the facial proportions and transfer them to the painting surface in the right proportions? What should be considered when it comes to the anatomy of the eye, nose and mouth? However, we will move away from templates and guidelines very quickly and dedicate ourselves to the free implementation of the portrait theme. It is about free interpretation, creating moods and giving the portrait a character and (D) a story. It can also be experimental, wild and pretty weird. The course is aimed at anyone who wants to deal with the topic of portrait in a playful and free way

Course location:
PLAN:A, Atelier Anne Schwabe,
Zahrenser Weg 25b, 29640 Schneverdingen

Please note that the course takes place on 2 consecutive days.

What initially began as a passion and with attending various artistic seminars developed into a freelance work as a visual artist. My work focuses in particular on free and (figurative) abstract painting.
