Great new experience. And respect for all people who have visual impairment.

The waiter and the food were very good. Unfortunately, due to illness, the musical event could not take place as we had booked (music event with the best songs from the last decades). Only the pianist was there. He played very well, but unfortunately you couldn't hear him that well because it was very loud in the restaurant. Sometimes you felt like you were in a canteen because of the noise level. Otherwise, it was a very interesting experience.

A great experience! Even though the eyes really wanted to look at first, the dinner became a meditation over the course of the evening, despite fantastic music and an excellent menu.

Get to know unsicht-Bar

At dinner in the pitch-black dining room of the unsicht-Bar, the eye finally has a break. You experience what your other senses can actually do if you just challenge them. Feel a gentle breath of air. Touch the objects on the table. Let your nose explore unexpected spheres and experience the drama of fine flavors without optical illusion. Su feels the presence of your table neighbors and is amazed at how even the often so trivial conversation gains spatial and intellectual depth. A real sensory thrill!

When you visit us

... you won't be left alone in the dark! We welcome you to our softly illuminated foyer. Here you can take off your cloakroom before the big experience, discuss your menu and relax with a drink.

You will then receive a brief briefing on how to spend time in the dark. Then your personal guest service team will greet you. As a blind or severely visually impaired person, she is very familiar with darkness.

Two rules of the game are very important: On the one hand, light sources of all kinds, such as lighters and smoking products, glowing dials or cell phone displays are taboo in the dark. On the other hand, please don't try to move through the dark guest room on your own — you could bump yourself and others or disrupt the service process.

If you want to leave the dark in between, for example, to take a break from smoking or going to the toilet, a short word to your guest services team is enough. She will certainly guide you outside.
