Small ceramic courses in Hamburg | Studio ANQI
Get to know Studio ANQI
Introduction:
I am Anqi, ceramic artist and founder of Studio ANQI in Hamburg.
Sound has been with me for more than ten years — from during my studies to my current artistic practice. What still inspires me today is the combination of craftsmanship, materials and creativity. With every movement, ideas gradually create tangible forms.
With Studio ANQI, I've created a place where people can relax, get creative and discover the joy of working with sound. My wish is to build an open community in which ceramic enthusiasts can meet, learn from each other and develop new ideas — regardless of whether they are working with clay for the first time or already have experience.
Location:
Studio ANQI is a small, personally run ceramic studio in Hamburg.
The studio has two turntables and hand-assembled workstations for up to six people. The quiet atmosphere offers space to try things out, experiment and concentrate on work. It is important to me that every person feels welcome and can be creative at their own pace.
Classes and events:
The courses take place in small groups and offer plenty of individual support.
Whether turning on the potter's wheel, assembling by hand or glazing — the focus is not on perfection or previous knowledge, but on the creative process. The participants learn traditional ceramic techniques and at the same time develop their own ideas and forms of expression.
In addition to workshops, I also offer open studio times where you can work independently and exchange ideas with other ceramic enthusiasts.
Team events and private events:
Private workshops for groups of friends, families or companies are available by individual appointment.
Working together with sound creates a relaxed atmosphere, promotes creativity and communication and offers space for shared experiences. Each workshop is adapted to the wishes and previous knowledge of the group, so that a personal and special experience is created.
