About this experience

In this 2.5-hour entry-level course, you will learn the entire process of turning the potter's wheel:

  • Knead clay
  • Center sound
  • Open, pull up and shape
  • Twist off workpieces

Step by step, the first workpieces such as a cup, a small bowl, a plate or a vase are created. In a small group, you will receive individual support and plenty of time to practice.

At the end, you select up to two workpieces to fire. If you wish, you can glaze them yourself later. After drying and firing, you can usually pick up the finished work in the studio after 3-5 weeks.
