Get to know Sonja Neumann
“A small work of art day by day” — daily painting is my passion. With over 20 years of artistic experience, I discovered daily painting for myself in 2016. My vision is to make this movement better known in German-speaking countries. Just like in America, where the small works of art have long been collector's items. In my workshops, I have already been able to motivate many artists to paint regularly on a small format.
Painting is done with oil paints on a small, square format - using the “wet-on-wet” technique.
We paint without any solvents and I'll show you how easy oil painting can be.
My approach: after good preparatory work, i.e. mixing the color palette together and a tonal analysis, we paint a quick, loose oil painting together.
You will be amazed how this preparatory work can create an expressive work of art in a short period of time.
The aim is to strengthen one's own artistic trust through regular, planned painting and to paint more loosely and boldly.
