Behind the Make-Up & Styling studio is Nicolay Lissner — a trained makeup artist with 20 years of professional experience in the high-end sector. My journey took me from renowned theatre stages to major cinema productions and international Hollywood sets such as “The Hunger Games.” After all these years in the spotlight of film and television, it was time for me to embark on a new mission: to make professional knowledge accessible, understandable and suitable for everyday use. In the past six years, I have already been able to support over 1,500 clients in my coaching and workshops. My passion is naturalness. My aim is not to change faces, but to underline individual beauty with the right hand movements. With deep conviction, I rely on the highest product quality and work with certified natural cosmetics.

The location: An elegant place of wellbeing in the heart of Freiburg

The events take place at Studio Make-Up & Styling, which is embedded in our creative studio collective “Studio N19”. Here I work hand in hand with fantastic colleagues: independent make-up artists Faye Ryan and Pia Konyen as well as photographer Samira Aline.

The location combines an elegant design of warm gold tones and selected vintage elements to create an exclusive but at the same time completely relaxed feel-good atmosphere. Equipped with professional workstations, the studio offers the perfect setting for creative hours. In addition to the courses, guests also have access to an exclusive area with high-quality sales products. For closed groups and team events, the location offers convenient space for a convivial and interactive round.

What makes my workshops special? There is no rigid theoretical pressure here, but real practical knowledge on equal footing. The focus is on simple tips and tricks that anyone can implement in their own everyday life immediately and without much effort. And above all: The focus is always on fun.

An absolute highlight is the successful “Beauty and Wine” format, which has developed into a real Freiburg secret tip over the last five years. Here I combine my beauty knowledge with the wine expertise of Barbara — a regionally known wine connoisseur and food influencer. Together as an experienced dream team, we create an interactive event with professional makeup & care tricks and a high-quality wine tasting that is unique in this form.
