Working as a media designer, among other things, as the daughter of a trained potter, I am very impressed by the subject matter of clay and everything that goes with it. The very relaxing creative process can offer a calming counterpool to stressful everyday life. On the other hand, with some techniques, it gets exciting when the finished piece is pulled out of the oven and shows great, unpredictable effects.
