Everyone should know at least 10 wild herbs! For a culinary change on the plate, for health, for beauty — even for love! I am Martina Egger, herbal practitioner and mountain hiking guide. You can travel with me to the most beautiful places in SalzburgerLand.
During my hikes and workshops around the beautiful city of Salzburg, I invite people to reconnect with nature, get closer to it and not only share my knowledge about wild herbs, but also to experience it directly and use it in everyday life.
Untamed nature gives us originality, deep relaxation and a wealth of valuable treasures — freely available and full of potential. Stinging nettles, wild thyme, blackberries, dandelions and many other native wild plants often grow right on our doorstep and are among the most nutrient-rich foods of all. Countless culinary discoveries can be found in meadows, alpine pastures and forests, which also serve as natural remedies and are just waiting to be consciously noticed and used.
Wild herbs not only enrich our diet in terms of taste, but also bring variety and liveliness to the plate. At the same time, they are original, unprocessed organic food. Collecting in nature also strengthens our vitality, raises awareness of our environment and promotes mindfulness.
