Alexander learned how to work professionally with wood and manufacture solid wood furniture in the redwood area of Santa Cruz (California, USA) from a renowned solid wood furniture manufacturer. He then deepened his knowledge by working with craftsmen and designers in Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland, always looking for new methods, inspiration and connections with masters of their craft. He now works as a solid wood furniture maker recognized by the German Chamber of Crafts in Waiblingen near Stuttgart. In his previous professional life, he completed a master's degree as an industrial engineer and worked in project management for several years.

In his designs, he combines the traditional material wood with modern materials and methods. He attaches just as much importance to quality, function and durability as to design and aesthetics. Each product is designed and manufactured in close collaboration with the customer.
