What is “Tufting”?
- Discover the new viral trend that let's you create your own small carpet 🧶
- You can choose to make a rug, a wall hanging, or a small mirror with a fluffy frame
- Your carpet will be about 50 x 50cm
- You'll have over 50 colours of yarn to choose from: let your imagination run wild, free and fluffy ☁️
- It's really fun and addictive! Once you understand it, you won't want to stop
How to your design get ready
- After booking, you can send us your design and we'll give you some tips on how to get it ready for tufting.
- Send your design 48 hours before the workshop
- Keep your design simple, without too many small or thin details. We'll also share some guidelines with extra tips.
- Just want to tuft? No problem, we can also offer you some ready-made designs 🐶 ☁️ 🍑 Just let us know

How does this activity work?
Learn tufting basics
We'll begin with an in-depth introduction to tufting. Our expert instructor will guide you through using an AK-1 electric tufting gun safely. You’ll learn essential techniques step-by-step and will have a chance to safely try before you start on your design.
Choose from over 50 yarn colours
Our gorgeous yarn wall is waiting for you! We'll help you pick a winning colour combination to bring your masterpiece to life.
It's time to get hands on
Get into the creative zone with your 50 × 50cm design. We’ll be there to guide you throughout.
Finish your rug
Learn basic trimming techniques to give your rug a professional finish.
Take it home - same day!
We'll aim to finish your rug on the day so you can take it home. If you run out of time, we can finish it off and you are welcome to pick it up two weeks after your workshop date. Posting your rug is also possible.
Who should definitely take part?
Tufting is approachable and accessible! We've taught people from teens to 70+ and the joy is infectious!
Tufting is great for:
- Group activities
- Friends
- A romantic date
- A gift for mom, dad, brother, sister or friends!
- Come by yourself and enjoy some creative “me-time" or make friends.
Tufting machines are quite heavy and so we only recommend it for teens (with supervision) and adults.
*Unfortunately our building is not wheelchair accessible, but please contact us and we would be thrilled to offer you a workshop in your own space (on demand)

We'll put the popcorn machine on and have a few yummy treats to keep you energised

Some basic beverages are included, and to celebrate your creativity, we'll share a glass of Sekt (or Apfelschorle) when it's all done!
