About this class
Our enchanting turntable courses are finally just for the little ones! In this course, we work in small groups on the electric pottery wheel. Each child has their own disc and can play pottery in a cozy atmosphere for around 1.5 hours. We use the rest of the time to paint the works and clean them up.
What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and brief introduction to turning on the potter's wheel
- Centering the sound, supported by our instructors
- Turn small cups, bowls or other containers independently
- Painting the works with nature-based paints (engobes)
- Final drying and firing of the works
Who is the class suitable for?
This course is aimed at children between 7 and 11 years of age who want to work creatively with sound.
