When making pottery, you have the chance to create something that lasts. At the end of this pottery course near Cologne, you will be holding your own pottery in your hands. Unleash your creativity and create your own work of art out of clay. In this pottery course, you have the opportunity to simply make whatever pottery you want.

Pottery course near Cologne: What is the process?
- In my pottery course, I will show you the basics and various hand building techniques of free pottery (without a turntable).
- Get inspired and implement your own pottery ideas.
- You can then rework your clay creations and decorate them as you like.
- We work with black clay and I would be happy to finalize your creations with a glaze of your choice.
- The pottery works are then fired.
- You can pick them up a few weeks after the course or have them sent for a shipping fee of 5€.

With 2 kg of clay, everyone is free to decide how to use them. As an example, a larger cup requires around 400 g of clay, while a cereal bowl requires around 600-700 g of clay.
Where does the pottery course take place?
The workshop takes place in my pottery studio near Cologne. When the weather is nice, we spend the day outdoors on the historic backyard among birds and lots of greenery.

It's best to put on clothes that could also get a bit dirty. Otherwise, you don't need to bring anything but yourself and a good mood.
Please leave rings and long fingernails at home;)
