What you’ll do in the class
During our 2.5-hour pottery workshop, you will design your own ceramic to-go mug step by step. You don't need any previous knowledge for this!
This is how your workshop works:
- Arrive & toast: We'll greet you with a glass of Crémant — alcohol-free if you wish. Make yourself comfortable and look forward to a creative break.
- Learn to make pottery: Our ceramist Madeleine shows you the basics of making pottery by hand and explains what you should pay attention to when shaping your mug.
- Shape your to-go mug: Now it's time to sound! Under professional guidance, you will shape your own mug and give it its individual shape.
- Paint & design: You then design your mug with colors, patterns and personal details. Whether minimalistic or colorful — you decide!
- Glazing & firing: After the workshop, we take over the further processing. Your mug is transparently glazed and fired.
After about three weeks, your homemade to-go mug is ready and can be picked up from us.
All materials and tools are available to you during the workshop.
