Team event in Innsbruck: 2 days of clay oven construction

Build your own, individually designed oven out of clay, which will soon give off the scent of crispy wood-fired bread and delicious pizza. 

What are the prerequisites for the course?

• You have enough space for a 1.10 x 1.10 meter oven in the garden, courtyard or anywhere else.
• You would like to own your own durable outdoor oven.
• You are prepared to wall up a small base beforehand, on which the stove will stand.
• You will build a roof over the clay oven before or after the seminar.

What is the course schedule?

After we have clarified the most important things before the workshop, let's get started right away:

Day 1 - approx. 6 hours

Brief theoretical input on clay and clay ovens. Joint planning. Preparation of materials. Construction of floor insulation. Building the shape and interior.

Day 2 - approx. 4 hours

Preparation of materials. Construction of the oven insulation. Construction of the furnace mouth. Briefing on oven use and care. 

What else is there to consider

• Since the weather is decisive, only the months of May - September are suitable
• Construction materials are NOT included in the price. Immediately after booking, you will receive a complete list of materials for your own procurement - if you have any questions about the materials, you can get in touch; the materials can be provided for an additional charge.
