About this class
Knitting is a wonderful and calming craft — relaxing and creative. You create beautiful, practical things with your own hands. If you've always wanted to create your own knitting projects, this course is for you.
At the beginning, you will learn how to pick up stitches with us — the first step of every knitting job. We will then focus on the two most important techniques: right and left stitches. They form the basis for most knitting patterns and open up a variety of projects for you.
Finally, I'll show you how to chain off the work so that your knit gets a clean finish. With these basics, you can knit your first headband right away.
In spring and summer, we knit reusable cosmetic pads and washcloths.
Look forward to a relaxed, creative atmosphere in which you will gain your first knitting experience. Whether alone or with friends — this workshop is the perfect introduction to a new creative hobby.
What you’ll do in the class

- We put what we have learned directly into practice and knit a cosmetic pad or washcloth together
