Out and about in the old town of Astnide
Take a short walk through the days of the ancients in the old town of Astnide. Where Limbecke & Berne flowed together, thick walls protected the city and the monastery, and emperors and kings passed the Kettwig Gate with their entourage. Feel the whiff of the past and let the night watchman tell you what happened in the old food, when the golden Madonna was carried through the streets, the ladies prayed in the monastery and all four city gates were firmly locked in the evening.
