About this class
You don't just go home with a finished picture. In this sketchbook workshop in Cologne, we'll start your own book together — with ideas, instructions and material that you can continue to us…
What you’ll do in the class
- At the beginning, I'll give you a short introduction to sketchbook drawing and introduce you to the materials.
- With an accompanying tutorial that takes you step by step through the workshop, you always have a brief orientation and lots of suggestions for continuing drawing.
- Together, we will familiarise ourselves with our colored pencils, colors and various design options. We then start with our first sketchbook double page: We collect ideas, try out simple drawing exercises and design a very personal page step by step.
- It is not about perfect drawings, but about the joy of trying out, discovering and creating creatively. You don't need any previous knowledge — I'll guide you through the process and give you inspiration for your own style.
- And if you want to continue after the workshop, you can also download the tutorial later on my website. This gives you the instructions and new ideas right at your fingertips to continue filling your sketchbook at home.
What is included in the class?
- Sketchbook, clips, stickers and 10 colored pencils to take with you
- Instructions, drawing exercises, washi tape, vintage stickers and creative materials
- Snacks and drinks
