About this experience
Discover the world of puppetry with big clapmouth figures!
In this workshop, you will learn the basics of playing techniques and learn how you can lose yourself in the game in order to attain the emotional state that children have while playing. For anyone who wants to awaken their inner child and rediscover their joy of playing.
You don't need your own doll to participate, I'll bring dolls to try out.
If you have your own fold-mouth figure, it is welcome and will certainly gain character over the course of the workshop.
Important: It's about fold-mouth figures, such as the Muppets or Sesame Street. Not about puppets, puppets, stick figures or marionettes!
The workshop can also function as a team building measure. Here I would pay more attention to playing technique and, for example, stage a “piece of everyday life” with the participants in a trusting atmosphere.
How does this experience take place?
The workshop is a mix of three parts, and you will be taught the following content:
- Movement meditation to music, dream trips, mental health sessions
- Theatre Education Games
- Puppet show basic knowledge (technology and game ideas) and first games in groups of two;
for the particularly brave, perhaps a solo in front of everyone
