About this class
Sweater knitting (Sonja Sweater from Petite Knit) 3-day knitting course:

- 11.02.25
- 11.03.25, always from 18:00 to 20:00
Together we knit the Sonja Sweater using the Petite Knit pattern, the sweater is knitted from top to bottom.
The following techniques are covered:
- Attach shoulders
- German short rows
- left and right increase
- Schlingenschlag
- Italian necklaces
- double knit
- Insert sleeves
- Knit on the collar
In a joint exchange, questions can be clarified more easily and assistance can be provided.
Parts that are easy to understand or have already been shown in the meeting are then completed in-house at home by the next meeting.
There will be 3 live meetings in total. If one of the 3 dates is not suitable, it is possible to rejoin one of the follow-up courses in the corresponding unit.

What you’ll do in the class
Your package will be sent home with all necessary materials and instructions. You start by yourself with a very simple part, and for the first sophisticated technology, we will then meet for the first appointment. There are 3 joint meetings in which new and sophisticated techniques are shown and explained in direct exchange, questions can be asked and a general understanding of the knitting instructions can be gained.
There will be video material for all of these newly shown techniques, which will be available to help you at home.
Who is the class suitable for?
You should have previous knowledge, maybe you have already knitted your 20th Sophie Scarf and now feel ready to take the next big step in your knitting career, but still need a little help.
Right and left stitches should be a term, if you've worked with a needle game before, that's an advantage.
