What you’ll do in the class
- Preparing clay, centering, pulling, and throwing small to medium vases
- Learn how to use various tools to add patterns and shapes to the surface of the clay
- Learn how to take your finished piece off the wheel without distorting it
- Our tutor will assist you throughout the workshop in case the pieces become too wobbly
- We then take care to trim, glaze and fire your pieces in the ceramic kiln
- You’ll pick up your pieces 2 – 3 weeks later

- Two-hour workshop session
- Clay, tools, materials, and apron
- Expert guidance during the workshop
- Glazing and firing for up to 2 vases

Everything is taken care of, however, you are welcome to bring a change of clothes with you.
