About this class
I discovered my love for papier-mâché sculpture while studying in Hamburg — and I immediately felt that this was my material. Paper, newspapers and paste make something that you can shape and really hold in your hands. Everyday life is quickly lost and you dive into a quiet, intense moment just for yourself. Everything can be created, nothing must. I would like to share exactly this experience with you.
I am a graduate designer and author (“Sack No. 8 and the Dancing Shoe Cleaner”, 51 short stories).
Details to remember
What to bring to the class
Nothing but a good mood and a smile — everything else, from wire to paste, is included in the workshop.
What is included in the class?
All materials (wire, paper, paste, paint, brush),
a glass of wine or sparkling wine, coffee and tea —
as well as time for exchange, good conversations
and creative work together in a relaxed atmosphere.
During the warm months, the courses also take place in the evenings on weekends — for creative hours in bright twilight.

What you’ll do in the class
We start with a wire frame as the basic shape of your sculpture. With kitchen paper or newspaper and paste, you build up volume step by step and develop your shape intuitively. You take your work with you and let it dry at home.
Who is the class suitable for?
For people who want to escape from their everyday lives.
And for beginners and advanced users who want to give themselves or their loved ones something unique — a work that will last and be enjoyed for a lifetime.
