About this class
Medium carpet tufting in Hamburg (45 × 45 cm) is the ideal workshop for anyone who wants to implement a larger tufting project. On a 45 × 45 cm frame, you can design your own rug in 3 to 4 hours with a motif of your choice — whether logo, animal, flowers or graphic design. Step by step, you will learn how to use the tufting gun and implement your design with a wide range of wool colors.
During the workshop, you will also trim your rug yourself and fix it with spray adhesive so that you can theoretically take it home straight away. For particularly sturdy and durable workmanship — especially if the rug is to be used on the floor later — you can optionally add a professional finish including trimming and gluing.
All materials, drinks and small snacks are already included. No previous experience is required.

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to tufting and the tufting gun.
- Your design submitted in advance has already been checked for feasibility and drawn out on the frame.
- Choose from a wide range of colours.
- Step by step, tuft your medium rug (45 × 45 cm).
- Then trim your rug yourself and fix it with spray adhesive.
- So you can take your rug home straight away.
Optional: If you have added the professional finish, your rug will then be professionally finely trimmed again and permanently glued. After a drying period of around two days, you can pick it up or have it sent by appointment for a small additional charge. The organization is easy via e-mail.
Who is the class suitable for?
The workshop is suitable for anyone who wants to design a larger rug themselves and get to know how to tuft. Thanks to the larger work area, more detailed motifs can also be created. No previous experience is required.
