About this class
Maxi Tufting Rug in Hamburg (85 × 85 cm) is the perfect workshop for anyone who wants to create an impressive piece of tufting work of art. On a spacious 85 × 85 cm frame, you can create your own motif in 4 to 5 hours — whether logo, character, abstract design or detailed illustration. Step by step, you will learn how to use the tufting gun and work with a wide range of wool colors.
During the workshop, you will also trim your rug yourself and fix it with spray adhesive so that you can theoretically take it home straight away. For particularly sturdy and durable workmanship — especially if the rug is to be used on the floor later — you can optionally add a professional finish including trimming and gluing.
All materials, drinks and small snacks are already included. No previous experience is required.

What you’ll do in the class
- Welcome and introduction to tufting and the tufting gun.
- Your design submitted in advance has already been checked for feasibility and drawn out on the frame.
- Choose from a wide range of colours.
- Step by step, tuft your maxi rug (85 × 85 cm).
- Then trim your rug yourself and fix it with spray adhesive.
- So you can take your rug home straight away.
Optional: If you have added the professional finish, your rug will then be professionally finely trimmed again and permanently glued. After a drying period of around two days, you can pick it up or have it sent by appointment for a small additional charge. The organization is easy via e-mail.
