Class description
I will guide you step by step through the production of this picture. From the background to the branches to the flowers.
It is most relaxed if you arrive at the course room about 10 minutes before the start of the workshop. Of course, you can enjoy the beautiful ambiance of the estate beforehand.
This motif is one of a series of almond blossom trees that van Gogh created between 1888 and 1890 when he was in the south of France. Blooming trees were special for the artist, as they represent awakening and (thus) hope. These paintings reflect influences from impressionism and Japanese woodcuts.
How close you want to stay with the original is up to you.
How does this activity work?
The course lasts approximately 4 hours.
Your canvas size is 30 × 40 cm.
We will work together on this picture step by step. You can always implement your own preferences or stay very close to my instructions.
We will take a short break halfway through the course.
Please ask your questions openly at any time. I support each of you as individually as possible, which is why we are only a small group.
Who should definitely take part?
Also suitable for beginners. If you have already worked with acrylic paints, that would be an advantage for this course. But even without previous experience, you will have a great experience.
Experienced painters can improve their skills here.
