About this class
Go blue and discover the fascinating world of cyanotypes! The cyanotype is one of the oldest camera-free photo processes in the world.
In this unique workshop in Berlin, you will learn how to create impressive blueprints using light-sensitive emulsion and sunlight. The process is ecological and offers you plenty of room for creativity: Place materials, objects or photo films on paper and create unique works of art by exposure to sunlight.
The course takes place on the green grounds of the BLO studios and invites you to be creative in the open air and exchange ideas with other art enthusiasts. Drinks and snacks are ready for you — let your imagination run wild!

- Introduction to the history and technology of cyanotyping.
- Design of individual blueprints with various materials.
- Illumination of the works by sunlight.
