About this class
The Kaiserstuhl, a gem in the southern Rhine Valley on whose northern foothills can be found in Endingen, one of the most beautiful towns in South Baden. And right here, you can experience a tour that you can't experience anywhere else. Experience an ancient cultural landscape with all senses and in all its facets. Learn exciting connections between the volcanic geology of the Kaiserstuhl and how it shapes the Rhine Valley and hear stories about the biology of this unique habitat of praying mantis and bee-eater. The winemaker's herbology gives you special insights and impressions on the palate and nose. In addition, taste organically grown wines, bruised and spontaneously fermented, without the use of pesticides or winemaking agents. At the highest point of the tour, enjoy the view of the Rhine Valley, from the Vosges to the Black Forest, all with a glass of delicious wine! On the way back, we'll show you the contrast to our work and we'll end up again at the Winzerhof, where a delicious meal can be prepared for groups of 15 people or more. - We look forward to your visit and your interest in our work, which we love.
What you’ll do in the class
The group meets at the Linder Winzerhof outside. After a welcome drink, the group sets off into the vineyard under the professional guidance of the winemaker. A total of three wines are tasted in two nearby vineyards. The way back is entertaining and invites you to stroll downhill. A snack can be booked at the farm, with as many components as possible coming from our own production due to the season. Vegetarian is the standard, vegan is possible, as is meat consumption.
Who is the class suitable for?
The course is for everyone who is good on foot. There are also special offers for groups with children, e.g. a juice tasting instead of a wine tasting
