About this class
This workshop is led by artist Anke Buchmann. The workshop language is based on the needs of the participants: English and/or German.
About the workshop:
Sound harbours memories. Every touch, every tool, every gesture leaves traces. This two-day workshop (3 hours each) invites you to dive deep into the world of surfaces and textures and explore how they shape not only the look but also the shape of your ceramic pieces.
In two days of guided experiments, you will explore raw clay, slurry, tools and natural materials and trace textures that lead to surprising shapes. Each session combines playful discovery with reflection and encourages you to cross borders and at the same time find your own voice in the material.
Inspiration comes from the material itself, from the process and from the exchange within the group. Together, we'll discover how texture can transform a simple interface into a powerful expression of character, depth, and individuality.

Here are some products you can add to your event
