About this class
It is autumn and the days are getting darker. It's time for some magic. In our holiday workshop, we will follow in the footsteps of “A Girl Called Willow” and “The Chronicles of Narnia” for four days. Together we brew magic potions, design fantastic costumes, solve mysterious puzzles, meet magical animals and travel to strange parallel worlds.
In doing so, we learn how to realistically draw figures in various situations, poses and moods as well as animals and objects. In addition to designing the characters, we create our own visual worlds and familiarise ourselves with spatial representation and perspective in a very playful way. Using the term visual storytelling, we learn to draw detailed scenes and create atmosphere with the help of light and shadow. We work with colored and watercolor pencils and a wide variety of materials. We bring a bit of magic to your vacation every day! We are looking forward to a mysterious time with you!
The course is suitable for children and adolescents from school age up to 17 years. To ensure optimal planning security for our customers, the holiday workshop takes place regardless of the number of participants. This workshop can only be booked for the entire workshop period.
What you’ll do in the class
It starts every day at 9:30 a.m. We will have a lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00 and go out to eat. This costs 16 euros per day and is generally optional, but highly recommended for group dynamic reasons.
In exceptional cases, you can also eat your own food in the restaurant if you have allergies and intolerances. Older participants can also spend lunchtime on their own responsibility, subject to a written declaration from their legal guardians. Unfortunately, it is not possible to stay in the studio during lunchtime.
