About this class
Welcome to the creative holiday workshop “The World of Comics”! In this exciting, four-day workshop, we dive together into the colorful world of comic art and explore the various ways to bring characters and stories to life on paper.
Whether superheroes, mythical creatures or funny everyday heroes — we will learn the basics of comic drawing together and try out different styles. From the first sketch to the polished character, you'll have the opportunity to design your own unique characters, give them personality, and bring them to life in colorful comics. In doing so, we explore how to represent emotions and movements in drawings and experiment with various techniques to create dynamism and depth. At the end of the workshop, you will have created your very own comic book heroes and exciting stories that you can proudly present. Join us on this creative journey and discover the limitless world of comic art!
The course is suitable for children and adolescents from school age up to 17 years. To ensure optimal planning security for our customers, the holiday workshop takes place regardless of the number of participants. This workshop can only be booked for the entire workshop period.
What you’ll do in the class
It starts every day at 9:30 a.m. We will have a lunch break between 12:00 and 13:00 and go out to eat. This costs 16 euros per day and is generally optional, but highly recommended for group dynamic reasons. The package of 16 euros for lunch covers the main course, two drinks and ice cream as a dessert. A booking can only be made for the entire workshop period and must be paid no later than 1 week before the start of the event. Please transfer the total amount of 64€ to the ART SPOT account and inform us briefly by email.
In exceptional cases, you can also eat your own food in the restaurant if you have allergies and intolerances. Older participants can also spend lunchtime on their own responsibility, subject to a written declaration from their legal guardians. Unfortunately, it is not possible to stay in the studio during lunchtime.
