The story:

Josef Edenhofer, local brewery and large landowner. He has made a considerable fortune in his life, but even this did not save him from the last course that lies ahead of us all. The invited mourning community gathers in the local tavern on the evening of the funeral. The deceased loved to celebrate well, which should be shown again in his honor during a hearty funeral feast. But suddenly... A shot! Unrest in the hall... tumultuous movements? Who was hit? Is anyone in danger? Where did the shot come from? Anselm Grabengräber is the chief inspector of the local homicide commission; he is known as strange, sharp and stubborn. In his own way, Anselm begins to investigate and does not leave any suspicion unobserved. With the indirect help of diligent pathologist Ulrike Biop-Sien, the two come across surprising clues that raise question after question. Perhaps Josef Edenhofer did not die of natural causes after all?
